• If a treatment is cancelled prior to 48 hours then your deposit can be used for a treatment on a different date. 
• Full payment is required for missed appointments or those cancelled with less than 24 hours notice.  
• Late arrival to an appointment may unfortunately reduce your appointment time, as it will not always be possible to accommodate additional time at the end of your appointment. 

Absolutely, home visits are available with an additional charge to cover travel time and petrol expenses (miles are calculated using Google maps route planner from our location in West Ashby to your postcode). Visits within a 5 mile round trip are subject to a £5 charge and 5-15 miles a £10.00 charge. Further distances are also considered. Please contact us to discuss your requirements. 

• At your first reflexology appointment I complete a wellbeing consultation form with you, or check through this with you if you’ve already completed it online. This is used to check for any contra-indications and so I can tailor your treatment.  
• After the consultation, you remove your footwear and I make you comfortable on our relaxing reclining chair.  For hand reflexology you will need your arms to be bare from the elbow down. I carry out a quick observation and make notes about the appearance of your feet or hands.   
• I settle you into the treatment then apply pressure to the reflex points as you relax. You will receive a full reflexology treatment and I will log any reflexes that are out of balance.   
• While many people like to be peaceful and relax during the treatment some prefer to chat. Whatever feels right for you is right for your treatment. Sometimes people fall asleep too, which is also absolutely fine. Your body knows what you need.   
• At the end of the session you will have time to ask any questions and we will discuss next steps. If you wish to proceed with further treatments I will prepare a treatment plan that is unique to your goals or medical needs.  
• For subsequent treatments we will talk about how you have been feeling since your last appointment, regarding your presenting condition or goals. Following that you can relax and enjoy a treatment which is tailored specifically for you. At the end of your treatment we can review any observations and additional care opportunities that could benefit you.
• What do I wear? It’s your choice but it’s important to feel comfortable. For foot reflexology you will only need to remove your footwear. Lymphatic drainage you will need to have bare lower legs and feet (from the knees down).  Hand reflexology: bare forearms and hand (from the elbow down)

• Please note that a Reflexologist doesn’t claim to diagnose, cure or prescribe. However, the sessions are wellbeing focussed and intended to assess, coach and educate.  
• Can I have reflexology while pregnant? Yes in most cases. Research studies have demonstrated that women receiving regular reflexology can experience better pregnancies and shorter birthing with less intervention. I can provide reflexology advice, but not medical or obstetric advice. 
• For most people reflexology is a very relaxing and enjoyable experience, without any side effects.  Occasionally a client may feel tired for a couple of days, extra thirsty or more emotional.   Sometimes a person can experience mild discomfort in areas of the feet corresponding to sensitive reflexes. This usually goes after the first or second treatment and is an indicator of an out of balance reflex. In these cases I offer a treatment using lighter pressure.  Sometimes symptoms can increase briefly before they improve as the body responds to the treatment. These are all signs that the body is responding positively to restore homeostasis.
